April Bräu Bülletin: Spring has sprung at the Plexbräuhaus!

Spring is in the air here at the Plexbräuhaus - new app features are really starting to sprout, the yard is looking lush and green (and now illuminated), and the yeasts have risen for the first 10 gallons of Plexbräuhaus Plex Pale.

Plexbräuhaus Plex Pale Now On Tap

We have 10 gallons of a custom-made Plexbräuhaus Plex Pale just finishing up in the fermenters, and the first 5 gallons were kegged on April 7th! The Plex Pale features Chinook, Amarillo and Centennial hops; and is sitting at around 6.1% ABV.

Having our own custom house brews on tap is a big step for the Plexbräuhaus - you definitely want to swing by and pour one (or six). Oh yeah, it's pouring at about 30° right now.

We're upping our total capacity to have 20 gallons in reserve at all times, and will be brewing up a storm to get our regular lineup in queue.

On Tap Now:

  • Plexbräuhaus Plex Pale #1

Fermenting:

  • Plexbräuhaus Plex Pale #2 (2x aroma hops & keg dry hopped)

Planned:

  • Lone Pint Yellow Rose Clone (code name Bosaic IPA)

  • Sad Dad DIPA

  • Summer Plex Lager

New App Features are Growing like Weeds

Stephen is cruising full steam ahead on new feature development for the Plexbräuhaus app and tap terminal. As we move into doing more custom beers, sharing information on tasting notes and profiles for beers on tap will become really important - there's some fun stuff going in under the hood to make that easier.

We're also working on improving subscription management, adding new subscription types (like day passes), and making app downloads more accessible.

Plexbräuhaus Garden Improvements

The Plexbräuhaus backyard is looking lush. Leaves are back on the big pecan trees - providing some much needed shade - and we added some string lights a few weeks ago for those late night Plex sessions. A new fire pit will be going in shortly, so throw those lawn chairs in the car and come celebrate springtime with us!
